Putting this in my Scraps because this is an experimental piece; may do more run-abouts later.
Anyway...I am a big fan of My Little Pony, obviously, and have been since I was a kid and I watched the 80s series for the first time. I've been re-watching both the 80s series and Friendship is Magic, and decided to draw my favorites from the 80s series in the FiM style, just for fun.
First up is my absolute favorite villain from the 80s series, Grogar, and my favorite Pony, Ribbon. For those of you who don't know, Grogar was a ram-demon who ruled over the ancient city of Tambelon, the Realm of Darkness. He had special powers granted to him by the bell around his neck. Ribbon was a kindly, motherly unicorn with telepathic magic. I also drew these two together because I ship them as well; I may draw their son, my original character Marvel, in the FiM style too.
Anyway...I modeled Grogar after Discord somewhat, mainly because Discord's head is very goat-like in appearance...it makes me wonder if they based Discord off of Grogar when designing him. Maybe, maybe not...I dunno, but it helped me. Ribbon was really simple to draw in the FiM style, I just needed to tweak a few things.
Overall I like how it turned out, but I'm not happy with Ribbon for some reason...bleah. D:
Ribbon and Grogar are owned by Hasbro Friendship is Magic style is owned by Lauren Faust
Really? Those must have been mine, then. The only people who have made ship-pics of these two are me and my friend ~Ombyshadow, but I could be wrong.
Unfortunately all of my ship-pics of the two were on my old account, and they were removed from DA when I de-activated it. I still have them on my harddrive though.
Yes, I used to ship Ribbon/Grogar back on my old account, !delete-lover, before I de-activated it. I guess I still do ship it deep down, but what with all the new Pony pairings coming up, it's just been pushed to the back of my mind.
On a video a friend of mine made.

It's kinda sad really. D:
I had to say it, sorry.
